The entire battery can be individually administered in just 30 to 45 minutes - or two or three brief sessions. Procedures for assessing aphasic patients are included.

Most items are scored on a 1-to-4-point scale, and results are recorded on a scoring sheet, which provides a profile of the patient’s performance.

A revision of the test, the LOTCA-G, is designed specifically for geriatric patients. It features larger items, less complex tasks, shorter subtests, a memory subtest, and a modified orientation subtest.

LOTCA gives you a qualitative, process-orientated, and client-centered assessment. It offers a first look at the candidate for rehabilitation and lays the groundwork for intervention.
